Today is the day we received our Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP) for our daughter, aged 8. Quite a momentous day to be honest.
Today is also the day that I began my new blog

I have read posts from families who have waited much longer than us for one to be granted, and I have read posts where the plan has been refused and families have had to go through the ordeal of appealing with all the added stress that must surely involve.
We have been through an awful lot to get where we are now, it hasn’t been easy, we have had to fight, question and shout the loudest to be heard.
Our daughter, J, is the star of my blog. She is an extremely complex little girl and most of the professionals we have met along the way agree! And I think to some extent, this is definitely a contributing factor to the time taken to get where we are now.
But here we are, with an "almost" confirmed diagnosis of Autism, PDA & ADHD.
